Reviews
Great ValueAnonymous reviewerAt an offer price of £160, you can't get better value. Easy to put together with the help of video on You Tube. Its very sturdy and will last a longtime.
Originally pleased, but overall very disappointed with qualityAnonymous reviewerI was originally very pleased with this item, and whilst it understandably took some time to put together it came together well, and felt sturdy.
However, after only 4 months of use the white veneer is now splitting and peeling off the legs which is very visible and is extremely disappointing. The chest of drawers has not been moved, nor is it in a high traffic area, so there is no reason at all that this should happen other than poor quality. Very disappointing for the price.
SuperbAnonymous reviewerLooks great. Takes a bit of putting together but definitely worth the effort and superb when finished looks classy as well of a huge amount of storage.
Big set of drawers Anonymous reviewerA really big set of drawers. A replacement for the pine hemnes set. Doesent mark as easy as the soft pine of the hemnes set. And am sorry but after reading some of the other reviews there is no way this takes 4/5 hours to assemble maybe blame your self not the prouduct. Overall a rather good set.
Great additionAnonymous reviewerPerfect piece to elevate the bedroom
Great piece of Kit!Anonymous reviewerThe Hemnes sideboard we wanted was out of stock, this one is larger, cheaper & easier to construct. It also has the unique draw lock system to stop the draws being used as a climbing frame. I did cancel my original order as the next day I received an email with a price reduction, it was so simple to cancel my order, re-order, still have it delivered at the same time, on the same day only £40 cheaper & this was all done online.
4 HOURS TO ASSEMBLE WITH TWO PEOPLE BAD INSTRUCTIONSAnonymous reviewerLooks ok. Some gaps in the drawers, not all drawers sit flush or straight. Great size, nice colour but the instructions are missing VITAL information with very little clarity. I would not suggest attempting this on your own. I am not a new comer to ikea furniture and my father is a carpenter of 30+ years and we noticed many obvious steps are skipped and clearer instructions are needed. If you need help there is a great YouTube video of assembly. If this was under £200 chest I would understand but £270+ with wonky drawers, difficult instructions and taking 4+ hours leaves me feeling disappointed.
Great chest of drawsAnonymous reviewerVery happy with my purchase it is very well made and sturdy and such a great price!
GrahamAnonymous reviewerExcellent value
Rubbish quality Anonymous reviewerThe veneer chips away too easily! Waste of money
Expensive so shouldn't see sign of chipboardAnonymous reviewerUnder the top draws shows a slight 2cm width on each side of chipboard.
Put together to the instructions.
AwfulAnonymous reviewer5 HOURS to construct! Terrible instructions. Absolute piece of rubbish.
We are massive IKEA fans has been for years but this chest of drawers has beaten us down.
And the end result? Terrible.
AwfulAnonymous reviewerTop eventually bowing far to long and heavy for the unit draws dont fit well gaps everywhere
DrawsAnonymous reviewerThey are amazing and so solid
Great product and solidAnonymous reviewerA good price for a piece of furniture of this size and style. The instructions were easy to follow, and it was simple to assemble. Small touches like checked drawer bottoms, locking drawers so they can't pull completely out, make this worth every penny. Looks great in place too. Love it.
AwefulAnonymous reviewerProduct feels cheap. Draws do not fit properly. The draws catch on the frame.
Uneven gaps around the draws
Chest of DrawersAnonymous reviewerA really good sturdy piece of furniture with a lot of storage.
Great itemAnonymous reviewerLooks great very sturdy
Awful FitAnonymous reviewerSpent 3 hours putting it together what to put the drawers in and 2 don’t fit properly had to call them to collect this rubbish avoid
Looks good, assembly a challenge!Anonymous reviewerAs IKEA veterans we didn't anticipate any issues with assembly. Until we saw the number of small parts needed, probably in excess of 200. Some shading in the booklet to indicate front/ back, left/ right would have been useful. Also an illustration of the major elements at the outset to check all were present. Completed after several hours but worth it.
