FRÖSLUNDA Integrated dishwasher, IKEA 500, 45 cm
5 year guarantee. Read about the terms in the guarantee brochure.
A dishwasher saves both water and energy, compared to hand washing that usually requires 5 times as much water.
The dishwasher has a function that detects the amount of dishes in the dishwasher and how dirty they are and adjusts the water volume based on this.
Towards the end of the program, the door automatically opens and stays ajar so that the dishes dry as quickly as possible.

Reviews
DisappointingAnonymous reviewerWriting the review after a year of use. The cutlery tray is the worst part of it - it doesn't wash cutlery. It doesn't dry your dishes. Quite often dishes are dirty. The only benefits are the size (very good for a small kitchen) and it opens after finishing. Definitely wouldn't buy it again
How to adjust legsAnonymous reviewerAs I struggle I decide to share.
Screw to adjust is on the right of the picture not in the middle of the sign and adjust only back legs.
Front legs need to be done by hand. Best to put the front of dishwasher slightly up above the ground and then easily adjust them. Good luck if you struggle like me when reading this Egyptian hieroglyphics:)
Replacement for IKEA dishwasher Anonymous reviewerAfter almost 10 years of service and frequent daily use my old IKEA machine packed up. Rather than repair I replaced with this up to date model. It's quiet and efficient. I'm not a huge fan of the cutlery tray but it does create more room in the lower baskets. That's just personal taste; cutlery comes out clean. I thought the door popping open at the end of a cycle was a bit gimmicky but its a great feature and ensures dishes are always dry. I use separate salt, rinse aid and ordinary tablets (not 3-in-1) and it gives very good results. YOU MUST take the time to set the water hardness and rinse aid amount through the electronic menu. Was also very easy to install. Hoping this one will also last 10 years. I got it on a deal for £349. So far I'm happy enough. The 5 Yr warranty is sector leading.
Froslunda integrated dishwasherAnonymous reviewerWorks beautifully but wish I had opted for a larger model.
It is an OK dishwasherAnonymous reviewerI like having a dishwasher, so can't really complain. I love that there is the automatic door opening function after a cycle is finished!
Some downsides:
- the tablets don't always fully dissolve in 30 minutes cycle
- it was a bit fiddly to install and difficult to level - the instructions provided were clearly for a different model !
Doesn’t clean as well as expected Anonymous reviewerWith the cutlery being at the top it doesn’t seem to clean it the best
Great!Anonymous reviewerGreat little dishwasher
Excellent Little DishwasherAnonymous reviewerThe only downside to this machine is that it is 45cm wide, however, everything else is excellent.
I managed to install the dishwasher myself and, on first running it, was pleased to find the range of programs were perfectly suited to our needs.
Maintenance is simple and the manual instructive.
If you want a cheap (for IKEA) dishwasher, this one is first class. I do wonder just what I'm missing with the pricier examples but this was as far as my budget was willing to go after our second-hand Beko died!
Some installation steps a pain!Anonymous reviewerWhomever designed the mechanism for raising the legs needs to be told off. Supposedly you need to loosen them with a screwdriver and then hand unscrew. Very fiddly and difficult and whomever can hand loosen them must have a Vulcan death grip. Ikea just provide a cheap tool for it next time. Most difficult raising of any appliance I have ever had to install! Not sure what operation is like but compelled to leave a review of installation whilst I am struggling to raise the dishwasher to the correct height.
dishwasherAnonymous reviewerthis dishwasher was purchased to replace my previous appliance also from ikea both fabulous very pleased with new washer excellent item and great value for the money
It’s fine Anonymous reviewerGenerally works as expected, although the cutlery tray doesn’t really allow full cleaning due to it being away from the jets
