Beautiful but noisy Anonymous reviewerAbsolutely love the design it’s why we bought it but it’s so loud even on the lowest setting 2
Noisy !Anonymous reviewerBeautiful to look at but ridiculously loud !1
Excellent extractorAnonymous reviewerThis extractor works really well especially when fitted to externally extract. It looks great and matches the glass hob we also bought perfectly. Cleans up lovely and looks very sleek , perfect for a minimalist kitchen.5
Replacement LED lightsAnonymous reviewerThe LED lights is not standard available to replace. May I ask where can I but the replacement LED lights?3
Great product. Anonymous reviewerVery easy to install, good quality finish. 5
Looks stylish and does the jobAnonymous reviewerThis extractor fan looks very stylish in my new kitchen and it complements the finsmakare steam/pyrolytic oven that I also bought. It is a bit noisier than I would have liked, but at least that way I can't forget to switch it off after use. It does a good job of extracting, so overall this is a good purchase.4
Very StylishAnonymous reviewerThis extractor fan is very stylish and easy to fit. The only thing is that it is slightly noisy and does a great job of extracting which it is meant to do. it is very easy to keep clean and change filters.5

Function solution

Sound levels

Sound levels for appliances are measured in decibels (dBs). Our extractor hoods have been tested in speed 3 to determine the dB level. The sound level of your extractor hood is affected by: • Type of installation. Exhaust-mode or recirculation-mode. • Length and diameter of the exhaust pipe between extractor and exhaust vent. The longer it is and the smaller the diameter, the louder it gets. • 90° bends. The more bends you have in the exhaust pipe, the greater the sound.

Quality

Sensitive to noise or have an open-plan home?

For extractor hoods, a noise level below 60 dB is considered low – roughly equivalent to a normal conversation between two people. We measure the noise level of our hoods at max speed, making it easier to compare different models. Note that sound levels decrease at lower speeds, and recirculating hoods are typically louder than those vented outdoors. Noise may also increase if the ducting is long or has several bends, as the air has to work harder to pass through the system.
