I have commercial business where I have free outside in my shed but I’m too lazy to check the temperature time but now that this I can set to -20 too hot then the basil will just start beeping away and I’ll hear it from outside
Very slow feedbackAnonymous reviewerI am not sure if the intention of this thermometer is to use it for slow cooking only but the feedback is extremely slow. You need about 5-8 seconds to get an accurate reading.
Comparing it with another instant thermometer I have it was always off by 2-3 degrees Celsius.
I haven’t tried it yet for a slow cook roast in the oven, so I ll update the review once I do this.
Timer not loud enoughAnonymous reviewerBought this because you discontinued the simpler electronic timer. Thermometer is good if a bit fiddly to use and store. Alarm volume is a bit low, especially if the timer isn't standing up.

He would prefer that there was an indent or smal grip on the top corner of the timer for the thermometer to sit neatly in but other than that, he thinks ots perfect.

Beeper broken after 2.5 months. Anonymous reviewerPurchased mid July (2.5 months), beeper fails to sound. Tried new battery, turning on and off. Nothing. Not great when you have food cooking and are relying on the alert sound. Shame, because when it worked, it worked well.

Already not working after only 2.5 monthsAnonymous reviewerThis was easy to use and I was pleased with it —but the last time I tried to use it the thermometer was not correct. It reads ice water as 74degrees Celsius! It should last for more than 2.5 months, surely?

Food temperature gauge/timerAnonymous reviewerUseful thermometer to test food temperature - particularly thick cuts of meat whilst being heated in the oven or pan and food after it’s been heated in microwave - not in microwave! Has a timer function too.
Extraordinarily useful!Anonymous reviewerI bought this on impulse at one point in an IKEA some time ago and little did I know I would end up getting so much use out of it. Even doing something mundane like heating up a tin of soup on the hob is improved by having this temperature alarm set, keeping it from boiling/burning and reminding me to stir.
