No issues, pleased with productAnonymous reviewerI was really reluctant to order this given previous reviews, but took a chance and I’m really chuffed with the wardrobe given the price. I’ve given it 4 stars - I think the parts would be easier numbered to assemble and the back panel is a bit flimsy. It took me and Husband about 3 and a half hours to assemble, taking our time to ensure accuracy. Thankfully I’ve had no issues with shelf alignment as other have reported. Either I’ve been lucky, or matters have been addressed by IKEA. I think £40 for delivery is now a bit excessive but the 2 large boxes restricts purchasing and travelling home by car.
Faulty - AVOID!Anonymous reviewerThe inner shelf didn’t line up with the pre-drilled holes and sat slanted, the doors were wonky/misaligned, and the outer body was chipped in several places.
Getting it resolved was even more frustrating. I had 3 separate conversations with IKEA customer service, was initially told the wardrobe was out of stock and to get back in touch when it came back in stock (not sure why I as the customer had to do this and not IKEA customer service). When I did this I was told a replacement had been dispatched and the delivery team would take the old faulty wardrobe away, however the delivery team collected the old wardrobe but had no replacement to deliver.
I was then told I’d have to wait another 10 days for a replacement due to a stock issue. At that point I gave up and requested a refund which they even tried to talk me out of.
Poor product quality, even worse customer service. Wouldn’t recommend
Gorgeous! Anonymous reviewerOrdered the wardrobe for delivery and then whilst waiting for it to arrive I read the reviews. I was tempted to cancel as the reviews were so bad. However, it went together easily with 2 of us working on it. We had no issue with the shelves lining up and have been really pleased with the wardrobe. Either Ikea have fixed the issue or I did notice there were 2 screw holes very close together, wondering if some have been using the wrong one? Don’t be put off ordering, it’s a good value product.
Great for the price and looks niceAnonymous reviewerI bought 2 of these wardrobes as the price was so good & then read the reviews afterwards and panicked, I was ready to take it back.
However I thought I’d give it a go! My partner and I took everything out of the packaging laid it all out, it has a lot of small screws and bits, my advice is to separate it all and organise by counting each part against the instructions and get a large tray where you can lay it all out.
Read the instructions and follow exactly step by step, double and triple check the orientation of each component, lay it out on the floor exactly as pictured in the instructions and it makes the whole build 100x easier. It took us 3 hours 45 minutes to build one, but it was worth being slow and deliberate about it because every part slotted together perfectly. The frame, inner shelves and rail are sturdy. The back and the doors are more flimsy, still feels strong enough.
I knocked it down one star as the doors need a bit of hinge screw adjusting to sit straight.

Ikea have change the way the backing board get fixed and this doesn't keep the unit square or secure and because of this the doors don't line
Plus because it's unstable you can see the hinges in the middle of the unit thought the side of the doors
I'm a trades man and not a DIY person

Excellent wardrobeAnonymous reviewerThis is a lovely piece of furniture and feels a little more sturdy than other IKEA models like Pax.
I can see other recent reviews with issues on the manufacturing of the shelf but I did not have this issue so hopefully it is something IKEA have sorted now. I bought mine from newly delivered stock on Saturday 22 August in store in Warrington

Inner shelf does not alignAnonymous reviewerI wish I had read the reviews before buying this. The inner shelf does not fit. After carrying it on my own trying to put it together. Absolute waste of time and energy. I can’t believe they are still selling a defective product. IKEA you need to do better. I will not be buying any more Ikea products. I will have to try and return tomorrow. Hopefully my back will last out.
Faulty/DefectiveAnonymous reviewerUnfortunately going to have to pile on to the existing criticism. The inner box on the bottom right of the wardrobe was supposed to have the upright section 67cm high, and was in fact 69cm high!! So, you cannot connect it to the side of the wardrobe.
Customer services are doing their best to get a replacement part to me, which is fair enough, but it will be at least a 2 week wait as the product is on order. I note that as of mid-Aug 2026 it is no longer for sale online - so I imagine they have had manufacturing problems that they are putting right. Sadly this is the second large item in the last 9 months which has had issues like this, which has rocked my confidence in IKEA. Other than that, it's a nice wardrobe.
DefectiveAnonymous reviewerSame as many others on here, the internal shelf holes are drilled incorrectly so the shelf isn’t level. We’ve had a nightmare with Ikea trying to get a new one arranged, due to a holiday we booked a free collection and new one to be delivered home as week and a half later. Then got a call a week later that they were now out of stock and they hadn’t put one aside for us! Now waiting for new stock to be delivered, hoping this batch doesn’t have the same issue!!!

Beware! Design/manufacturing fault.Anonymous reviewerI had the same experience as another anonymous reviewer insofar as the holes for the internal shelf are about 4cm out of their correct position meaning that the shelf is nowhere near horizontal! I had to take it all apart again and make multiple trips up and down stairs (I'd already torn up the packaging 🙄, not dreaming I'd need to reuse it!) to get the pretty heavy components back to the ground floor to be collected by IKEA. At least Customer Service were suitably apologetic and helpful and have arranged free delivery of a replacement when new stock (hopefully fault-free!) arrives later this week. They have redeemed themselves somewhat but I expect better quality assurance from IKEA in the first place! Frustrating!!
Lovely wardrobe Anonymous reviewerLooks really classy with the panelling. Found this easy to put together. Maybe someone giving you a hand to lift it upright. Two small grooves are visible when you fit the top of the wardrobe so I have used a flexible filler to conceal them. Doors are a bit thin & flimsy. No complaints for the price. Good value. Bit outrageous £40 local home delivery for me. I'd buy another if that wasn't so expensive.

Good quality wardrobeAnonymous reviewerEasy to assembled wardrobe, did it on my own in just over an hour, with some help to stand it up. No complaints for the price, the wardrobe is better quality than other ikea furniture I have had before, it feels more substantial than flimsy. Had no problems, will be buying another! Just make sure you have the pieces the correct way around as some look similar and sides aren't labelled. I also installed the ikea wardrobe light which finishes it off nicely.

The wardrobes are spacious inside and have a hanging rail and internal shelf spacious which is a bonus. The cupboards looks smart ,however the doors do not feel substantial and feel quite flimsy compared to other wardrobes systems I have bought from Ikea
Do not buyAnonymous reviewerWhere do I start? First there is damage at the bottom plinth. Ignore that. Could tip ex over it I thought. Then… to put it all together to find out the shelf is not level at 90 degrees. As a matter of fact it’s out by about 1.5 inches! The left door is lower than the right so it catches at the bottom. Gaps everywhere. I thought it’s machine cut. How could the holes be so out??
I don’t recommend at all. I know it only £159 but with delivery… really not worth a fiver!
DO NOT BUYAnonymous reviewerfaulty design (tried to assemble two) with numerous family members and friends and failed the divider is at least 3/4 cm off (be careful do not buy) it cost me loads of my time (had to assemble and disassemble two and return them to ikea) Ikea was not helpful at all
