Item falling apart when buildingAnonymous reviewerI’m extremely disappointed with the quality of this product. I purchased two sets of these drawers and followed the assembly instructions carefully, step by step. However, the material was literally crumbling and falling apart as I built it. Each time I moved on to the next stage, more chunks broke away from the panels. I have bought furniture from IKEA for years and have never experienced quality this poor. After spending three hours assembling just one set, I’m now left with a damaged product that feels completely unfit for purpose. I also live a considerable distance from the store, so simply taking both sets back is not easy. I’ve tried contacting IKEA for support, but getting through to a real person and finding an actual resolution feels like navigating a minefield. The quality is far below the standard I expect from IKEA. Unfortunately, I should have listened to the other reviews reporting exactly the same problem. I also have documented photos of the item breaking apart.1
Terrible quality and expensive Anonymous reviewerReally hoped to be ok after seeing the reviews but sadly I wish I had avoided this item- the edges are all rough and sharp! The back broke when fitting the black string, what a pointless string hard to fit and damaged the unit! I am not able to return to the store as I had a home delivery so looking toward to see how idea will deal with my damaged case. Really disappointed! 1
