Not the firm sofa it used to beAnonymous reviewerI have had Ektorp seaters before including a 2 seater like the one I got last July, only this time the cushions are very mushy soft and drags the hips down. If you have any slight backaches, I won't recommend this sofa at all. It is disappointing as I had same type when my children were much younger and despite the use at the time, it stood up to it until house move when I donated the sofas. I'm not sure why the designer for this sofa have decided to change from firm or reasonable cushions to mushy ones, awful for lower back. I'm middle age but even my adult children avoids sitting on it. I wish I'd not been so quick to throw the packaging away and should have returned, although I'll check if Ikea could collect it.1
