Reversible back cushions filled with polyester fibres provide soft support for your back and two different sides to wear.
Seat cushions filled with high resilience foam and polyester fibre wadding give comfortable support for your body, and easily regain their shape when you get up.
Hakebo cover feels soft and smooth and has a nice texture that makes the sofa comfortable and inviting.
The cover is easy to keep clean since it is removable and machine washable.

An Ektorp to replace an EktorpAnonymous reviewerDownsizing the sofa. We already had a 3 seater Ektorp, and have had since 2007. Room re-planning necessitated a two seater and an armchair. Looked around at other "sofa specialists" couldn't find anything "back-friendly" or indeed anything that didn't have ridiculously long seat cushions that would allow me (183 cm tall) to sit back on the sofa and comfortably put my feet on the floor! So back to IKEA, and replaced the still comfortable 3 seater Ektorp with a 2 seater Ektorp.
ComfortAnonymous reviewerThis has not been fully comfortable from day one. Perhaps I sit too much each day but the sofa I sit on is noticeable lower than the other one and feels very uncomfortable. I could feel the wooden back frame of the seat from day one. I don't find it to be 'wonderfully soft' as per the description. It seems to become more uncomfortable every day.
