Amazing. Best sofa ever. Anonymous reviewerWhat a wonderful sofa. It's comfy not too soft and not too firm either. I was worried about putting it together because my wardrobe/bed and chest of drawers took me and two friends almost 9hrs. But I did it by myself in under an hour. It's the easiest IKEA furniture I've put together. And as always the delivery was on time and as scheduled. The guys were brilliant. IKEA doing what they do best. ♥️ I almost forgot it's so long!! I'm 163cm tall (5ft4) and I fit and there's still some space left😅

Dog hair collector Anonymous reviewerThe fabric that this sofa is made from makes it impossible to get dog hairs off this sofa. Unlike other sofas I have purchased that the dog hairs come off with a good brush and hoover.
IKEA it is not fit for purpose of family life in my opinion. I have to put a cover on it and I did not buy it to cover it.
ComfortableAnonymous reviewerA lovely sofa, relatively easy to build with two people.
It has a more upright seating position with well sprung seat cushions. It's easy to get to standing as the seat height is slightly higher, and you can vacuum underneath it.
The only problems are the 'document pouch' integrated into the sofa is way too small, and it's impossible to get the dog out from under it without a second person to lift it up (she tries to burrow under the sofa when she's frightened by fireworks).
It would be good to have more colour (and maybe patterns) options for the covers.

The seat depth is good too, you can sit back comfortably without feeling like your legs are not touching the floor. Also long enough to accomodate an afternoon nap, even fir a 6ft person! Very pleased with it.

The Ekholma is on the firmer side but that is great...makes it more supportive. The seat is nice and deep and height is good to make it easy to get up from if you are stiff or suffer with a bad back these are great . Can really recommend professionally!

It's a little high off floor, and seats are quite firm.
Fabric covers fit well and good quality in light beige.
Would like more padding on the arms.

I planned to buy the ektorp but after sitting on it ruled it out for discomfort, luckily found this one. It was easy to assemble and comfy too! For a sofa under £500 it is awesome.
Very uncomfortableAnonymous reviewerThese sofas look great but they are so uncomfortable! Unfortunately we ordered 2 which we are now stuck with! They come very unassembled which we were not expecting and we found attaching the arms very tricky as the holes didn't line up exactly!
Great Sofa!Anonymous reviewerI specifically wanted a sofa with firm seats and a decent height, that feels supportive yet comfortable, and looks nice, and doesn’t break the bank. Shouldn’t be too much to ask, but my search turned into a bit of a quest. Enter the stage, Ekholma! Everything I was looking for, solid build, proper springs, for an extremely reasonable price.
