More information would have been good.Anonymous reviewerWe looked into the item before we purchased it, nowhere did we read and non of the staff mentioned that it came flat packed. The delivery men said it was heavy, it certainly was, and as we are both in our 70s it was not easy to get it out of the boxes and assemble it. If it mentioned anywhere that it is a flat pack item maybe it should be more promenant. Also if the customer is elderly maybe your staff could mention it.......That said we like the item.

PerfectAnonymous reviewerVery happy indeed with new sofa. Clean lines and more modern looking than Ektorp. It's firmish but really good seating position and height - can fit 2 adults and child easily. What you lose in armchair arm width, you gain in seating area. I put the frame together in 15 mins and only needed help to put it upright once the legs were on (F 65). Now we just need Ikea to introduce the grey/green covers which are available for Ektorp.

I would strongly advise anyone with a pet to use a throw or cover. Although the fabric looks and feels good quality, it does not seem to withstand even light pet contact. Our dog has only been on the sofa two or three times and the fabric has already become visibly scratched.
It’s a great sofa for comfort and design, but if you have a dog (or even children playing with toys), you will definitely need to protect the fabric.

Very comfortable, easy to get up from!Anonymous reviewerWe were looking to replace our old sofa for a smaller one,a two-seater, with a high back and a firm seating. This one does it all: easy to sit on, easy to get up from, no need for hundreds of cushions as it's not too deep. I am not tall and don't feel the need for a back cushion. It was easy to assemble and, at a pinch, three people could sit on it, albeit the middle person would be sitting on the dividing line. I highly recommend it.

The easy to follow instructions were fine and the covers fit extremely well. The sofa looks like it is upholstered & not loose covers. A bonus as covers can be washed & replacements/colour choices available.
