Lovely, rustic looking jarsAnonymous reviewerI bought this jar to store sugar in and I am very happy with it. I love the cork tops for them too, which adds to the rustic look of these jars. They would be great for storing loose tea, ground coffee (in small amounts) or instant coffee, but for tea bags or coffee beans, they needs to be slightly bigger.
There is a larger version of this jar available which would be great for coffee (ground or bean) or perhaps biscuits, but unless you’re drinking LOTS of tea they might be too big - particularly if you’re storing the jars on your worktops and otherwise have limited space.
Beyond that, these are lovely little jars.
(Of course, tea, coffee and sugar are not the only things you can store in them, but I think they’ll make great tea jars if a mid-size was available).5
Needs to be (slightly) bigger!Anonymous reviewerI use these to keep tea bags in. They look smart, kind of rustic and fit in with the style of my kitchen. I like the cork tops for them too!
However, I’m keeping tea bags in them, and cannot get many tea bags in the jars without risking tearing some. The larger version of this jar is too big, so we really need something that is somewhere in the middle! These jars would be great for storing loose tea in, but for tea bags they just need to be ever so slightly bigger.
The other issue I have with these (at least one of them) is the cork top is slightly smaller and can get stuck if pushed in too far.
Apart from that, these are lovely jars.3
