Shelf for the hanging area as it would be nice to have one at the top and bottom. And yes, I did still buy another one of these - glutton for punishment.
Missing Parts Ruined the Assembly ExperienceAnonymous reviewerI was looking forward to assembling this wardrobe, but unfortunately the package was missing two essential fittings. According to the instructions, there should have been 9 pieces, but only 7 were included.
Because of the missing parts, I couldn’t complete the assembly and one of the wardrobe doors is still lying on the floor. I spent several hours assembling the unit only to discover I couldn’t finish it because of missing hardware.
Now I have to spend additional time contacting customer support and requesting replacement parts before I can even use the wardrobe.
The wardrobe itself seems fine, but the missing components completely ruined the experience. IKEA really needs to improve its quality control to ensure all required parts are included before shipping.

Faulty Product and AssemblyAnonymous reviewerThis wardrobe ended up being rather expensive as I have paid for both delivery and assembly.
Today, the wardrobe was assembled by one of the TaskRabbit team members and afterwards, I observed that one of the shelves has a crack in it. The most disappointing part is that some of the doors are not properly aligned, so there are rather visible gaps in the doors. I expect IKEA to provide some additional refunds for such a disappointing purchase.
I have also bought other items, which have been assembled today, so I will have to pay attention if there are any defects in the products and/or assembly.
Handy and stylish wardrobeAnonymous reviewerBought for our guest room. Looks lovely and is handy with shelves and hanging rail. The mirrored door is so handy, full length mirror. Doors are tricky to get right, but same with all ikea furniture though, once finished looks great.

Brimnes quality reassembleAnonymous reviewerI had bought my first brimnes in 2023 and post that second one in 2026, we had to shift to a new house - when we tried reassembling the whole wardrobe was wobbling, went to customer service desk explained to and showed the video recording - but they failed to understand - as one of them was in guarantee, we were able to get a refund, for the one bought in 2023 it had lapsed warranty period, so we were asked to call customer service, I was shocked when the executive mentioned that once the product is assembled - we should not dis mantle and reassemble, i asked her it was not mentioned in the manual, she said it is on the website - not sure when we buy the product, specific product details should be mentioned in the manual - so Ikea sells products to homeowners only and not for people who stay on rental, it was loss for us, we left both the cupboards at the customer service desk, though we buy other products from ikea - but Brimnes needs improvement, board chips very quickly

What is particleboard?
