Our designers went to work. One of them, Marta Kuprińska, was guided by intuition. What she saw? Colours. “I wanted to be bold. For the lounge chair, I was even a bit of a rebel. As a grey prototype arrived from the factory, I secretly put on a bright blue cover and placed it in our design department. As people saw it, they felt yes, let’s do this!” “But if you’re not into blue, it’s available in dark grey too”, Marta adds, laughing.

You can use the lounge chair in two ways when gaming or relaxing – with or without the seat cushion folded out.
The seat cushion retains both its shape and comfort for many matches since it’s made of durable pocket springs.
You will sit stable and steady for many years to come since the frame is made of carbon steel. You also enjoy a relaxed sitting position while gaming thanks to the angled backrest.
The castors make it easy to move the lounge chair from room to room, so you can always sit comfortably while gaming.

Upsides: Light Weight & Seems Durable - the frame is one whole piece of metal with no assembly. The cloth also feels of the same quality used in a mattress, very nice.
Downsides: The Velcro and supporting cloth on all but the armrests is insufficient, if you lean on the back rest or lean back, the seat cushions will break free and the backrest will quickly find itself behind the seat, leaving you with your back to metal bar. I've since rotated my cushion 180 degrees from what's shown in the picture, and fastened the folding strip to the frame with a cargo belt - it has not moved since. Do not slide backwards on this chair as if it was an office chair, it has damaged my flooring, respect that this chair needs to be lifted and then pulled back.
Extra padding on the arm rests would be nice, they're great for arms but if you lean on them with say your ribs, you'll find it digs in.

Ready for gaming – and everything else
Today, gaming takes place whenever, on different platforms, alone or together, and in different places of the home. With BRÄNNBOLL, we wanted to create a collection of furniture and accessories for this way of gaming – with a homey feel.
Philip Dilé, who works with product development, was part of investigating gamers’ new needs. His takeaway: these products must perform well for gaming and add to the experience, but they should also blend in nicely into the home when not used for gaming. Especially when gamers and non-gamers live together and there’s a lack of space. “That’s why the possibility to change activities easily is so important! It’s about two things, design and function,” says Philip. “Flexible, movable pieces are crucial, and looks too.”
Gaming doesn’t have to be all black
Just enough features
The BRÄNNBOLL collection is meant to do different things in the home. But it’s not about stuffing products with features. The trick is to find a balance. “Like the lounge chair, again. Use it as a normal armchair or lean back comfortably for a long gaming session. And with the castors it’s easy to rearrange your space when needed,” says Marta. You don’t have to be a gamer to use and love these products. Exactly who will use them, or exactly how – we don’t really know. “And that’s the beauty! I love it when people use our products in unexpected ways.”
