We thought it was just a design fault, as it still heats up when set to grill or grill/fan, even though it takes over 30 minutes to reach 300 degrees. Bread does not toast; it just heats up. I've searched for customer service help, but I'm getting nowhere

Obviously this is the type of item one gets to know over a period of time. Not in a few days.
Of which I have only used the oven once, as I mostly use an air fryer now days.
Getting use to the controls as there are more features than my previous non-IKEA oven.
Once observation is that the input touch controls on the screen are not illuminated, so not easy to see even if room lights are on.

Not great Anonymous reviewerLike another reviewer, the door handle started flaking very soon after buying this. I figured it would come under wear and tear so didn't bother trying to argue it with IKEA. I wish the handle was removable so it could be replaced because it looks awful.
Brandbo ovenAnonymous reviewerI bought this oven in July 2023. It came with only one rack and two trays, one oven tray and one toaster/grill tray I presume but no toaster/grill rack that would insert into tray. The grill function is not great, you have to have oven door close in order for it to work, not very convenient. The oven works well enough and it is very spacious. I would not choose this oven again.

Senior Resolutions Generalist decided this is a wear and tear issue and doesn't come under the guarantee. Little bit scary IKEA can get away with selling products, that are not fit for purpose.
