Fits under divanAnonymous reviewerMostly bedbound at the moment and I have been using it every day since it was assembled. It doesn't look like a hospital table. You do need some strength to engage the lever and push the table down at the same time, so I wish that was easier. It doesn't roll very easily over carpet, but crucially the foot fits under the divan. Would have been nice to know the height of the foot (roughly an inch) before purchasing.

I needed a mobile table for my elderly Mum, I ordered one which literally fell apart after a couple of weeks, then ordered another which was extremely heavy and far too big it was so difficult to assemble for me too then after all that my Mum didn't like it so I had to disassemble and return it, I knew exactly what I was looking for but it was exhausting trying to find it anywhere online, then this table popped up so I ordered it, on arrival I must admit that I wasn't looking forward to unpacking and assembling it after previous experiences but with my delight it was so easy!! Came in 4 parts with excellent simple instructions and within a few minutes I had put it together, the quality is superb, the table is sturdy and simple for my Mum to use and to my absolute delight it fits under her very low bed it's just perfect in every way thank you IKEA ❤️

Very high for sofa usageAnonymous reviewerThis has a large adjustable range, using a gas strut, like an office chair. It goes all the way up to standing working height, but not low enough for a laid back sofa. Perhaps a different version optimised for just sitting and laying down use would be a good idea? About 25-30 cm lower at both extremes. A different, shorter, pillar, purchasable separately, would be excellent.

Won't fit any of my armchairsAnonymous reviewerI am not disabled but I recently inherited a rise and recliner armchair and from the reviews this table seemed ideal. I can't use it for the reasons 2 and 3 below. I also tried it with my other armchairs but problem 2 also applied.
1 - the flat floor plate was just too deep to slide under the armchair. I bought raiser blocks for the chair so it did slide under.
2 - when pushed fully against the outside of the chair arm, the area of work surface over the seat is only 2/3 of the work surface leaving a space of the 1/3 opposite the seated person. Altering the angle doesn't help.
3 - the raise power is great but the pressure required to lower the table , when seated at table level, is very strong.

A great small work desk!Anonymous reviewerIt is small enough to move around and works well as a side table or computer desk. Height adjustment is easy, but I just hope that it could go a little higher then, to feel more comfortable for standing work (I am not a tall person, but still...).

Great Laptop standAnonymous reviewerIt’s a really great concept & happy with my purchase. The white colour goes with many interior decors. Needed a small lightweight table for near bedside & this fitted the requirements. Was so impressed that I bought another one too for lounge. The castor wheels are a good addition but don’t move so well on carpet. The only thing I don’t like is the horizontal bar on the base, as it’s difficult to sit due to it getting in the way. Maybe this could be designed differently for ample space. Otherwise it’s a great purchase & almost perfect, with the adjustable feature too.

Fantastic Side TableAnonymous reviewerFavorite one so far. Used it for breakfast and keeps my food separated from my desk. After lunch it allows me to work standing and be mobile when needed. At nights it absolutely obliterate bed trays when I want to read in bed. Super versatile and great for working at home. I wish it can go a little lower so I can slide it underneath my main table, or use it for keyboard and mouse.
Excellent flexibility with this tableAnonymous reviewerThis table has a quality appearance, is easy to adjust the height and it moves around easily on low castors. The weight makes it a very stable item but a little heavy for lifting. I tend to use this item upstairs where it’s already working well in the bedroom and hobby room. Considering buying a second table for downstairs as it is proving to be a useful multi purpose item.
Would be great if the table was also available in a wood finish.

We have a small house and a wheelchair user so this is very practical to use as well as move out of the way
A useful mobile table not just for laptopsAnonymous reviewerWorks well and low profile wheels means it can fit under low furniture if needed. Note that the first assembly item shows the image far too small. Note the slotted open bolt holes and which way they face. Not easy for 1 person unless propped, but I managed to hold it. Tighten the 4 bolts in each assembly but not totally tight then rotate tightening to make sure the 2 parts are flush and not caught at an angle. Moved a lot daily and so far all is well.

Simple and effectiveAnonymous reviewerThis desk is so easy to put together and looks great. It is simple and understated but does everything I could have hoped for. The raising and lowering mechanism works really well and means I can tuck the desk away when not in use but also can have it at whatever height I want to work at when I need it. It is weighty enough that it doesn’t feel flimsy when in use but it is easy to move when I push it back. Small and mighty and just what I needed for my tiny flat.
