Could be betterAnonymous reviewerI love the design of this lamp but I did expect it to better. For example why isn’t this Wi-Fi enabled ? So it can be integrated with ikea smart hub .
This would allow to control the speaker from a distance , set up automations for the light to come on at a certain time etc
I tired to get around this by buying ikeas smart plug but unfortunately that doesn’t turn on the light . Yes it provides power to the device then you have to press the button to the light . It’s a shame that when you plug it the light doesn’t come on automatically and then this could be controlled by the smart plug
I know it’s super lazy. But for a smart home it would be a great feature to incorporate in a future model .

The thoughtfullness of it's appearance is lacking when it comes to actual usability. This is a speaker first, lamp second. I say this because the light switch is not the satisfying clicky button on the front, nor is it the inviting dial above it. It's a much smaller less tacile button located on the back of the lamp. If you have visions of leaning over and turning this on in the morning, be prepared for your first moment of the day to be finding a tiny little button. Every day.
The LEDs are not bright enough to fully light the diffuser, so the lamp has the chronic appearance of having a bunch of dust inside. It kinda reminds me of when bugs get into an outdoor lampshade and never leave again.
It looks great, but a lamp is something that should be satisfying to interact with - tactility is important when you're interacting with an object every day. Speaker is adequate.

Lovely lamp/speakerAnonymous reviewerThis is such a wonderful utilitarian object. It's a decent size, but not too large for a smaller bedside table, and I think the sound is great given the form factor. I've dithered over getting a Bluetooth speaker from IKEA in the past because I've never known how I would accommodate the object (they're generally not much to look at--no offence IKEA) - but this is an inconspicuous, elegant little lamp, so it goes on the bedside table where it belongs. Perfect.
Really attractive lamp with a good speakerAnonymous reviewerThe aesthetic of the lamp is quite beautiful and it is an ideal size for a bedside table, shelf or coffee table. It feels high quality and it emits a warm light that can be dimmed according to your preference. It is not particularly bright but adds a pleasant accent to the room. I have never had a speaker before, so for me the sound quality is good and perhaps better than I expected. It can play music quite loud and seems sharp. It connects via bluetooth very easily. I use it everyday; such a nice way to relax and romanticise mundane activities about the house!
