You can use BILLY drawer with castors when you want to renew your BILLY bookcase and turn the lower part of the bookcase into a generous and closed storage space.
The drawer gives you space for things like board games, cords, fitness equipment and other items you often have out but like to hide away when not in use.
Mounted with drawer slides that keep the drawer in the bookcase and prevent it from being pulled out too far.
Easy to pull out and push in again since the castors roll smoothly on the floor.

Drill needed to installAnonymous reviewerI do love the product and have just bought a second one. Installation is not as straightforward as the manual implies. In MY assembly manual it clearly shows there are some pre-drilled holes on the bottom shelf of the bookcase. On my bookcases there are NO holes. This meant a lot of detailed measuring and drilling. I did query with IKEA after we put the first one together, but they assured me the assembly manual did not show predrilled holes. I had thrown the first manual away by that time.
It is a very useful product for me so I bought a second one and can see the assembly manual does show holes.
Billy drawerAnonymous reviewerPerfect delivery and love the item. BUT it needs attaching to the Billy bookcase via the holes otherwise you have to drill a hole. Unfortunately my Billy bookcase only has one hole in the lower part, there are no continuous holes at the top or bottom. So this has meant measuring and drilling to get the drawer fitted. Unsure whether I will want to order a second drawer for the bookcase next to it. I have owned these bookcases for quite a while but they look like new. IF you are buying a drawer check your bookcase to see if the side holes are at the bottom in the right position for the drawer runners. If not you will need a drill.
