Impossible to open, lids not good at allAnonymous reviewerI have bought a few of those, size is great to do meal prep. I am changing everything to get away from plastic but I can't believe how difficult are these lids to open! So very hard, several times I wanted to throw them away. I thought it was just me, but seeing the reviews it's really the lid that's the problem, not me (a relief in some way). But still very disappointed, I always thought high of Ikea but after these nightmares dear me, every single time it's an issue.. I am disabled, I was just trying to make my life healthier and easier with these but it's not the case unfortunately. Ikea please do something about those lids!

could put them in the oven too. Unfortunately the lids are the issue, impossible to remove. I’ve broken a nail, I’ve cracked the lid, I’ve had the food go everywhere getting the lid off. I can only rest the lid on top, I can’t stack them as then it pushes the lid on too much and I can’t get it off.

Would be great if the lid was slightly more pliable to assist in removal but overall a very useful item in a useful size.

Can’t get the lids off!Anonymous reviewerI am a fit, healthy, middle aged adult, and I can confirm as other reviews below have said, great pots, nightmare lids! For me, they go on fine, but I cannot remove them without a fight. Not sure if other IKEA lids fit? Will gladly buy, or I’ll have to chuck all my otherwise perfectly functioning pots away.
Aside from the lids, these containers are a good size for single portion leftovers, they’re sturdy, they stack nicely, and they go in the dishwasher, freezer and microwave fine (though best not to microwave, as food contained within is awkward, bordering on dangerous, to decant into a dish when hot). But without a decent lid, they’re next to useless.
Lids are awfulAnonymous reviewerCompletely agree with the other reviews, this is the perfect sized container ruined by an utterly useless lid - if up do manage to click it on properly it is IMPOSSIBLE to get off, I've just spent ten minutes trying. Surprised it got past product testing. Would buy an improved version though as the size/shape is exactly what I need.

The glass containers are not freezer proof (which I discovered after checking with IKEA customer service). Shame, because they're a helpful size and stack well.
