405.946.74Don’t let precious water go down the drain. Attach this auto diverter and hose to your shower mixer to collect the cold water that would otherwise go to waste as you are waiting for the shower to heat up.
More information

Automatically diverts cold water that would otherwise go to waste as you are waiting for the shower to heat up. The cold water runs through a separate hose and can be collected in a bucket.
Once the water temperature reaches 32°C, the water automatically diverts to the hand shower.
The collected water can be used, for example, to flush toilets or water plants.
Diverter hose clicks perfectly into the removable shelf in BERGVATTNET bucket, so it stays in place. Bucket with the bucket shelf sold separately.

Excellent way to reduce water consumptionAnonymous reviewerWe have a combi-boiler and it used to frustrate me with the amount of water I seemed to waste waiting for the shower to heat up. This gadget allows me to re-use this water for flushing the toilet (which surprisingly uses a lot of water per flush). In our household we shower at different times of the day so this has been especially rewarding in terms of not wasting water - we've even had a reduction in our water bill since we installed this. I also don't mind the blue hose at all. Well done Ikea!
Where is the other hose?Anonymous reviewerAs an able individual, I would also like it to be blue. However, does it come with the other hose for the shower head? I initially thought it did, but my wife said it did not, and we never actually saw the product in person at IKEA Wembley. Nevertheless, I cannot find the blue shower hose sold separately, which led me to think that both hoses might be included in this product, although I guess my wife may be right. If that is indeed the case, how is it that the matching hose is not sold separately so that we can purchase it to match the colour and design of this product? Only a silver hose is available for £12, and it does not match the colour at all, which makes the whole setup look very unattractive.
Reason for being blueAnonymous reviewerThe reason for it being blue in colour is to distinguish it from white/cream coloured wall tiles, shower base etc so that anyone with a visual impairment can identify it clearly. It's the same with the other bathroom fittings for this series of bathroom goods.
Able-bodied people don't think of disabilities they just think everything should be 'normal' but 'normal' doesn't work for everyone. Well done to the designer and IKEA for putting such thought into what they design and stock.
Works well to save waterAnonymous reviewerThis was easy to install and works well saving water while the shower is heating up. The matching bucket fits on the corner of the bath next to the shower and saves up to a watering can full of water a day. The only thing that could be improved is if the colour was white or something neutral to blend into the bathroom instead of bright blue.
