Don't buy Anonymous reviewerIf i could give minus stars, I would give minus 5 stars. This is ridiculously cheap material and just after 5 use, it useless cheap plastic suspension part broke. I had to invest in a whole new kit as the 1 year guarantee had just expired. I don't know why they keep selling this and not trying to upgrade the model after so many bad reviews. I even asked if they had an alternative option a bit more sturdy. Unfortunately this is the only one.

Horrible...Anonymous reviewerTo start off my review of the BEHJÄLPLIG sliding hinge assembly I served a mechanical craft doorapprenticeship and have a total of 35 years working on the repair of mechanical equipment.
I fallowed the first steps of measuring, using the jig for the two pilot holes, using the drill for the two bar holders and fitting of the bar for a slimline dishwasher.
I tried using the over sized flat pan head screw with rectangular nut, but this threw the long black flat rectangular plate out off position, overlapping on to the outside of the door, shown on the drawing with a X. I found a workaround by using a 5 mm screw with a large flat head out of B&Q, this allowed me to anchor the black part to dishwasher door rather than relying on the 4 screws provided for attaching the black part to the door. I had to drill a pilot hole after removing 4 screws on the inner face of dishwasher door as the black part refuses to accept the screw.
Look for a better vario sliding hinge elsewhere
Just doesn’t workAnonymous reviewerBought a new integrated dishwasher only to find that every time we try to fit the sliding mechanism the plastic clips either break or spring off. Have a dishwasher now with no front on it which isn’t a good look in a two year old kitchen. We don’t really want to have to buy another new dishwasher which must then come from Ikea! I’m guessing this is a deliberate hack by Ikea to force you to buy one of their dishwashers which unfortunately all have low fuel efficiency ratings.
Sadly - Plastic clips keep breakingAnonymous reviewerLike others... This is tricky to fit... and is made more difficult if your existing dishwasher height is not within the exact range this item is designed for. (As its a hinge, the alignment and angles are critical!).
After 2 months, both the plastic retaining clips broke. In fairness to IKEA, they have sent a replacement 'free'.... I might look to glue the clips to the mechanism in an attempt to improve the strength and reduce the reliance on a 5mm plastic retaining lug. (This might void the guarantee, but if it resolve the problem, then there's no issue.)
Advice to buyers.... be aware of this problem and be very careful and accurate when fitting. Consider investing in an IKEA dishwasher designed for the low kickboard (Eeek! But only solution to avoid needing this part)
Advice to IKEA - Make these clips in metal or change the design so that it is as good as all your other products!
Terrible design flawAnonymous reviewerI bought my kitchen from you in 2022 and since then iv not been able to use my integrated hotpoint dishwasher do to a design fault with the dishwasher fittings that we bought from you. The bar keeps popping out of the clips. Like many others have stated. I love my kitchen except this :( issue which iv still not been able to resolve.
Terrible productAnonymous reviewerWe have had an ikea kitchen fitted and within less than a year one of the clips continually popped off. We have been into ikea on 2 separate occasions to get spare parts and was told by one worker that they didn't do those sorts and another worker refused to help without the product code. We are now in a situation where both clips have popped off and we no longer have a door attached to the dishwasher. It was fitted by an ikea approved fitter and less than 2 years in we now don't have a functioning door. Very disappointed.

Poorly designed. Plastic cliips keep failing.Anonymous reviewerSimilar experience to the above customers. Got through two of these. The first time the pastic clips break so the door comes off the bottom bar. Second time the laminate on the units has worn away causing the door to rub and again the plastic clips have snapped. Had the clips been made of metal we would have a door on our dishwasher. Expensive and not fit for purpose.
doesn't work, poor qualityAnonymous reviewerWe have fitted this as per instructions and the door keep on coming off and now the brackets on which the door slides has been broken!! Useless. I can't even find these as spares now. What help can IKEA provide?
Is this a joke? Anonymous reviewerI've been trying to get this on for over 3 hours,
1st of all i fitted it all (took about an hour because of the below tracks) and it stuck out 2cm as the metal plate is not suitable for having end panels that stick out level with the main unit doors.
2nd you have to be so on the 19mm when attaching the runners to the door and yet they still won't just slide into the dishwasher tracks.
3rd the tracks you "slide" the door onto are the worst part, get one (no easy task) in and the other moves like a bag of frogs until you find the 1st track popping out again (and repeat, over, over and over again).
The tracks now look worn as they are not anything more then some cheap plastic and if I'm lucky enough to line them up one will just pop out..
The team/person that designed this need to stop drinking at work or find other work.

instantly broken DO NOT BUYAnonymous reviewerinstalled this 6 weeks ago when first part of our custom kitchen order came through. Its never even been used, only opened a maximum of 6 times to align doors. I adjust the plastic wheel, 5 mins later it drops and the top corner of the door leans down and hits the unit next to it. The system DOES NOT WORK. Currently writing a lengthy email with a long list of complaints. This is just one of the items that we are unhappy with and this will need replacing. there are countless complaints online and on reddit about this same issue so just AVOID at all costs
Major design flaw renders this useless.Anonymous reviewerSetting aside the incomprehensible instructions and fact that there isn't even an option for dishwashers which sit higher than 135mm from the ground... The product has a flaw which means the final installation ends up sitting your dishwasher door 2cm further forwards that the units either side. This is because the little metal stencil provided is designed to ignore the fact that an additional door will be added at the end. I'm get that there is a level of faffiness with all Ikea installations, but this is just a badly designed product that hasn't ever been tested. Rubbish time wasting product. There is a solve, but it requires you to totally ignore the instructions and provided stencil.
Destroyed our cabinetsAnonymous reviewerThis is not fit for purpose. Our cabinets either side have been rubbed so badly from the install that the covering has come off. The door constantly comes off the bar at the bottom due to the friction and the plastic connector has snapped. It was installed by ikea and they have not returned emails, I'm left with a new kitchen and no door on my dishwasher.
AwfulAnonymous reviewerIt doesn't work, all fitted as per the instructions. The top stuck out by nearly 20mm with the bottom flush. Then within five uses the bottom bracket broke, after trying to glue and alter the angle to level it up the top would catch on the slide. Again the bottom end broke again. This is not fit for purpose.
