Poor qualityAnonymous reviewerI bought this rug for my kids’ room and I’m highly disappointed. The quality is very poor — it’s extremely thin with a very low pile, which makes it uncomfortable and also impossible to vacuum properly. Within just a week it started looking rough and worn out, far older than it actually is.
Another issue is that the rug slips easily and even rolls up at the sides, which is not safe for a children’s room. Although the threads aren’t coming out, the surface looks tired and cheap very quickly. I considered washing it to see if it would improve, but I’m worried it might make things worse.
I did think about complaining, but honestly I feel it won’t help, so I’m leaving this review instead in the hope that IKEA will improve the quality, and so other customers don’t end up wasting their money like I did. I’ve always been a huge IKEA fan, but this product has been a big let-down.1

The rug is lovely but marks so easily. Within a couple of days of owning it, it looked like we had it for 3 years. I wouldnt recommend it, sorry.2

Stains easily, not as advertised Anonymous reviewerThis is such a pretty rug when bought but that doesn't last long. The stain remover I normally use on my other rugs does nothing on this one. It states in the description that it has stain resistant and durable fibres, this is false advertising and not true! The rug is stained and looks a bit sparse and my daughter's had it only about a year.

Did need to purchase a sheet of non moving rug stuff from another popular shop after installation as the rug moved about a lot , would have been ideal to have been given the option to buy something in ikea at the time as this can be a common problem . 5
