Impossible to assembleAnonymous reviewerIn 20 years this is the first piece of IKEA furniture I've had to return & I'm gutted as the shelves were just what I was looking for. Assembly is impossible with a regular screwdriver, (forget using the one in your IKEA toolkit) I had to buy an offset one to even have a hope of being able to access the top screws on each shelf, and even then every other predrilled hole was either too small to get any purchase or it wasn't possible to fully tighten the screw. I knew it was a lost cause when I tried to screw in a couple without the shelves in place and got nowhere. Other reviewers have had success so don't let this put you off giving it a go, but be warned you might end up disappointed like me. IKEA, please bring back the Mulig shelving units, they were Allen key assembly and went up like a dream!
Be patient folksAnonymous reviewerWe bought three of these for our garage .The first one we did find a bit fiddly with the small screws but all worked out in the end .Second and third were much easier .My partner and I had a few cross words whilst doing it .but we are chuffed with the results .Just take your time and be patient .
Great once assembledAnonymous reviewerThis unit is great value and looks good once it’s all finished, but… the assembly process is pretty excruciating!
The screws are small and fiddly, the ones nearest the shelves are super difficult to insert and alignment was an issue. After I’d assembled it I read some of the tips in other reviews and will be trying them out on the next set - I like the shelves, they’re shallow enough for the space I have and the mesh/grid of the shelf looks good.
As a seasoned flat pack assembler I wasn’t expecting such a challenge!

Sturdy and exactly what I neededAnonymous reviewerI used this shelf upside down to create some additional lovely shelving in my small open-plan kitchen. Attached to an odd half-wall that took up space and gave me no storage options. I attached the upside down baggebo to the existing wooden frame and the little "lip" on the shelves (because they are upside down) now keep everything stored and safe. All my scales, spices and colourful odds-and-ends are now on display and easy to get to. Draped in some gorgeous fairy lights, it looks lovely! Thank you.
Shelving unitAnonymous reviewerA nice shelving unit, looks good and should be straightforward to assemble. The only problem is the screws were fiddly and didn't do in straight all the time so bit tricky to assemble. Otherwise very happy with it

I’ve found a ton of different places I could put it and so many uses for it. Being a tough little unit, it could be perfect in a utility area, a garage or in a bathroom. It looks great with books on it and displays my items perfectly. I highly recommend the BAGGEBO for all these reasons.
So frustrating Anonymous reviewerI completely agree with the 'Abandon hope' review. You need infinite patience, tiny hands and a long snug-fitting screwdriver of EXACTLY the right size to put this up to a satisfactory standard, the angles are too acute. People who have done the most awful things should be forced to erect 10 of these every day in prison. Not even halfway through building the damn thing, I've told my wife to take it back for a refund. I'm through with it.

Amazing for the price.Anonymous reviewerFound it easy to assemble.. did it with a screw driver to tighten the last bit of the top screws after using the drill. Make sure you give good length of the drill attachment screw so it can get into the top corner screws. Finish off with a screw driver that's not to chunky. I tighten the two legs first, second last two semi tight.. it helps you align the holes. For the screws on the last to legs, don't bend the legs.. instead move the shelf bit to align the holes for the screws. I did this with my fingers, screwing the screws in semi on the last two legs before I used the drill to quickly screw them in. Then the screw driver to make sure it's tight af, took me around 20-30 min to build it. Hope this helps! Will be buying another two }:‑)
Easy to build!Anonymous reviewerI was nearly put off buying these units having read that folk were finding them almost impossible to build. However I found that it only took me 25 minutes to complete from opening the box to handover to my wife. I note that your instruction booklet shows on page 5 at the top an ikon of a person indicating that a Hand Crosshead Screwdriver is required. This should state that the driver should be a Pozidrive type such as a PZ2 as the supplied screws are pozidrive headed. Also some folk have complained that it is hard to align the holes...maybe they should NOT be using a power tool! I found the units very easy to complete using a hand held Pozidrive PZ2x125 with no problems. It is easy to set the screws correctly using just a few fingers on the handle to tease the threads to start without any force required. Just my opinions!
Really nice shelving unit Anonymous reviewerLove this sturdy unit so bought a couple of them. However one was easier to put up than the other as some of the holes and screws don’t line up properly. So just be wary of that. Saying that I managed to put enough screws in to hold the shelf up.
