Poorly madeAnonymous reviewerI bought this to upcycle (do the stained glass effect you see online), the measurements/spacing between the metal bars were wonky and didn't line up properly, it's a shame, if those were straight I would've kept it!
Love this greenhouseAnonymous reviewerI bought this to house some houseplants (fittonia). They have been in the Åkerbär for over a year and are doing well. They also have a grow light. I added a miniature garden table and chairs. It's a very well constructed product and is very sturdy when put together. It looks really smart and I would recommend it.

Ridiculous fittingsAnonymous reviewerIt's very flimsy, I know its for a window sill or shelf but the ridiculous little plastic things that hold it together don't fit properly and fall out when it's moved. It might be only £20 but I expected better than tiny bits of plastic to hold it together

Looks smart and more expensive than it was. The most taxing part of the assembly was peeling off the plastic film.

Cute looking and practical Anonymous reviewerReally practical design, super easy to put together. The whole of thetop can be lifted off of the base so it’s really easy to add or remove larger pots of plants. Looks lovely on my kitchen window ledge.
Very flimsy and unsuitable for outdoor use despite the nameAnonymous reviewer(1) The build quality is really poor; the connections are flimsy meaning it’ll warp when carried.
(2) The base does not connect to the rest, meaning this is a real pain to transport if you have to move it as it needs to be carried from below.
(3) There are large gaps everywhere in the design, so it does a poor job at keeping humidity in, and allows plenty of rain in if left outdoors (I’ve had the bottom tray fill to the brim).
(4) Joints have also started to rust, again from being outdoors.
In conclusion: this is fine as a display case that you never move and remains indoors. Fails badly at any other use case.

Easy enough to assemble however I recommend popping out the perspex sheets (clips similar to picture frames hold them in) to peel off the protective plastic film otherwise it's difficult. Otherwise a great product I will use for years. May grab another if they're still available for home delivery.
