However, the supporting wood under the large draw is separating out of the box and the large draw itself does not close smoothly. Disappointing because it’s assembled now. Other ikea furniture has been great but this really let me down

It is sturdy and well designed and the huge drawer is divided into two sections, making it ideal for storing both my electrical appliances and hair preps. And the height adjustable swivel chair and 80cm mirror go well with it.

Only okAnonymous reviewerI must say I’m slightly disappointed I have always been really impressed with anything I buy from ikea the fit and finish are always good. This unit in the other hand had rough edges in the finish and is not as sturdy as the previous unit it replaced. I can’t see this lasting as long.

Worth it (and I sold the MALM on, so it's got a new home). Couldn't find this to view in Wembley but it was spot on. IKEA, can you add the measurements between the seat area/big drawer to the diagram?

What is particleboard?
