Lovely wardrobeAnonymous reviewerEverything was there, went together easily and is very sturdy
Good quality5
Nice wardrobe but a nightmare to buildAnonymous reviewerIkea have brought in a new, ridiculous way of putting together cupboards - gone is the tried and tested way with dowels and locking nuts, in has come a ridiculous system of push lock which doesn't work unless everything is lined up perfectly, and even then it doesn't always work. I have put together many many pieces of IKEA furniture and this was by first my worse experience. I have never sworn at or called furniture names, until today.
I will NEVER buy another piece of furniture that has this ridiculous system. I had read reviews from other countries that said it was horrible to build but I assumed it was just people that aren't very good with that sort of thing.
However, it's a nice wardrobe when it finally goes together. But be warned, it is very large. But it looks less boxy than the Pax wardrobes. The bi-fold doors work well.2
2 ClicksAnonymous reviewerThe is a great wardrobe, it's easy to build, doors do not come out of the runners if you remember to push the posts into the runners until you hear 2 clicks, as shown on page 43 of the instructions.5
Good for the priceAnonymous reviewerThis wardrobe was easy to put together simple instructions5
Fantastic standalone wardrobeAnonymous reviewerI needed a wardrobe for my daughters bedroom, we opted for this as it's a nice big wardrobe and extremely sturdy. The folding doors are a great space saver and the shelves on the right are adjustable and removable.5
Perfect for my dressing roomAnonymous reviewerWe bought this wardrobe online and had it delivered.
It is relatively straightforward to put up, does need two people.
Does not require attaching to the wall
Sturdy
Clothes do get caught in the door but it's no bother
It's not big enough for an adults entire hanging wardrobe size ( I have an additional one in our bedroom!)5
GreatAnonymous reviewerLooks very good. Solid. Handyman didn’t have any problems assembling. Nice and tall. Doors easy to open and close.5
WardrobeAnonymous reviewerReally please with the quality and everything went together perfectly.
Well made, well designed.5
Lovely WardrobeAnonymous reviewerBought two to put alongside each other, look really smart in the bedroom. Followed the video on YouTube to put together, no issue with the doors. Really pleased.4
Wrong holesAnonymous reviewerThe top of the cabinet holes were drilled incorrectly. I had to drill and screw the top to wardrobe4
Large wardrobe - poor quality fittings.Anonymous reviewerLarge and spacious wardrobe. Plastic eyelet fittings are poor quality and need to be very precisely align before being fitted together. It was not possible to align the internal shelving eyelets without forcing the wardrobe together and risk breaking it. If these fittings were changed, it would greatly improve the look and robustness of the end product.3
Really sturdy wardrobeAnonymous reviewerLovely quality really sturdy and well made. Bit of a pain to put together though. Needs two people to flip wardrobe. Large size.5
Great quality from IKEAAnonymous reviewerGreat wardrobe and our daughter loves it in her newly decorated room!! My praise should be as long as the queue at the restaurant but nothing is that long!! 🙃🤣5
It was good until I fitted the doorsAnonymous reviewerThe wardrobe initially looked great, but once we installed the doors, the issues became clear. They don’t align properly, which prevents them from closing smoothly and unfortunately makes the whole unit appear cheap. The product photos are misleading—the doors will not look as neat as shown. Additionally, it would benefit from having a second door stopper at the top (it only comes with one per door) to prevent the door from swinging inward. I'm happy to return it but NO way I'm dismantling it! Or you can come and fix it!3
Lovely in my daughters roomAnonymous reviewerWe bought two of these and built them side by side. Very good quality5
Some Cheaper poor quality fittingsAnonymous reviewerHaving bought IKEA furniture for many years I was disappointed when having to use a fitting that has changed completely. IKEA always used a steel bolt & screw like fitting to join two pieces of their furniture together. The bolt had a cross on the top and hole in it's side and once the pin/screw joined it you turned the bolt with a screwdriver clockwise to lock it in
These have now been replaced with plastic dowel/screw like fittings that, after fitting to one side of a piece (in Idanas they are in both the top and internal large box shelf) the head has to be slotted into a pre carved hole and pushed down
It makes the job very difficult and you need to be extremely careful to line them up at same time as the others below. We accidentally damaged the top of it as it was so difficult to line up these fittings. Even after just 3 attempts the area around the carved hole just chipped and peeled away. Very poor quality joint fittings compared to usual.3
Idanas Wardrobe- what a great but!Anonymous reviewerWe are really happy with the 2 Idanas wardrobes we bought recently. Great design, quality and smooth sliding doors. Highly recommend and great value for money. 5
