only work for a yearAnonymous reviewerAfter just over a year of use, the silicone sealing ring has already deteriorated and the pressure cooker is now leaking steam and liquid around the lid. Replacement seals should be easier to obtain, especially as this is a part that wears out over time.
Handle broke within monthsAnonymous reviewerI haven’t had this pressure cooker for too long. It’s very efficient in that it does what it needs to do however the handle just broke off while I was carrying it. The pressure cooker was empty to say the least. So I’d say not very sturdy as you need the handle to be able to close it off. Now I can’t use it.

Great pressure cookerAnonymous reviewerI cook a lot and wanted to get a new pressure cooker after the old one's pressure vent became broken. I thought I can give this one a go, because of the reasonable price. It turned out to be a quality pressure cooker and well designed. The metal around and the bottom has good thickness, and it feels sturdy. It may be something to do with the surface treatment, but it is very easy to clean too. It has two pressure settings; lower and higher pressure, that you can choose accordingly, for the type of food. I highly recommend this cooker.

Gasket cannot be purchase from IKEAAnonymous reviewerI had been using this cooker for 2 years, the silicone gasket is aging from the use; gas leak while in use. contacted IKEA customer service and they told me to buy a new pressure cooker, no gasket spare can be purchase from Ikea. none of the manual helps.
the only solution that they gave me is to but this cooker use it for 364 days, and return it, get refund. and buy a new one for another 364 days.
