IKEA 365+ HJÄLTE stirring spatula

IKEA recalls certain date stamp of IKEA 365+ HJÄLTE stirring spatula due to non-compliant migration test 

IKEA asks all customers who own an IKEA 365+ HJÄLTE stirring spatula, with article number 401.494.62 and the date stamp 2445 (YYWW) (corresponding to products purchased after November 2024), to immediately stop using it and contact IKEA for a full refund. Proof of purchase (receipt) is not required.   

Why is this product not safe to use?

At IKEA, the health and safety of our customers is our top priority. Due to a local test in Belgium showing the non-compliant migration of primary aromatic amines (PAA) above the permissible limit, IKEA is recalling IKEA 365+ HJÄLTE stirring spatulas with the relevant date stamp in all markets where sold, including the UK.     

What should customers do and what remedy can they expect?

Customers who own one of the affected stirring spatulas should immediately stop using it and return it to any IKEA store for a full refund. Proof of purchase (receipt) is not required.
