I cannot connect my app/ phone to the Gateway. What am I doing wrong?

1. Check that the Gateway's power is switched on. If not, then check that the power supply cable is correctly attached.
2. Verify that the Gateway is connected to your home Wi-Fi router via cable and that the router has internet connectivity.
3. To continue, you need to download the IKEA Home spart app fro the Apple App Store or Google Play and follow the step-by-step guide shown in the app to set up your gateway.
4. Follow the instructions in the app on how to set up your Gateway and how to connect your steering devices and light sources.
5. Find the QR code on the base of your Gateway and scan it with your mobile phone, following the app instructions. If you have a problem scanning the QR code, you can input a Gateway code manually which is located on the base of the Gateway. If you are still having some problems, check that all the cables are connected and try this again.
6. Ensure that your mobile phone/ tablet is connected to your Wi-Fi Network. It must be connected to the same network which the Gateway is connected to.
7. If you have problems, set up the Gateway by following the steps in the app. You can reset your products by carrying out factory reset on all the smart products and installing again.
