How does IKEA assembly service work?
With Kokodiili, Remontti Idea and REMmontera assembly service, trusted taskers can install your IKEA furniture in your home. You can book assembly in‑store or online during checkout.
a) Select the IKEA products you want online or in-store.
You can also request assembly services directly from Kokodiili, Remontti Idea or REMmontera at any time. In this case, the booking is made directly through them.
- Check your email and phone. For the assembly service, you will receive a standard IKEA order confirmation and a satisfaction survey, as well as contact from the service provider, usually by phone, to confirm the exact time.
- Change or reschedule if needed. If you need to reschedule or cancel your assembly appointment please contact us via chat or email.
- Leave your to-be-assembled products in the original packaging. Place the packages in the room where you want them to be assembled, and make sure that the room is a safe area for the Tasker to perform the assembly.
- The Tasker arrives at your home or office to complete the assembly at the agreed-upon date and time.
