How do you use IKEA Kreativ?

You can use IKEA Kreativ in two different ways: you can explore IKEA products in 3D Showrooms or design your own space!

1. 3D Showrooms
The latest feature on IKEA.fi and the IKEA app is 3D showrooms, where you'll find ready-made room plans with interior designs that you can personalise to your liking. To use the digital showrooms, you don't need to scan your own space - you can choose from blank room templates or a fully designed room to customise. You can easily add, remove, swap and move products around these rooms, save your design ideas and share them with friends. You can also buy products displayed in the rooms and bookmark them as your favourites.
You can use the digital showroom on our website IKEA Kreative 3D Showrooms. In the IKEA app, you can find IKEA Kreativ from the home screen/menu. IKEA Kreativ aims to inspire creativity, enable users to visualise furniture in their homes and provide an easy and time-saving experience for creating attractive living spaces. We're continuing to develop IKEA Kreativ by adding new 3D exhibition spaces and developing immersive ways to experience them.
 
2. Design your own space
To redesign your space, you can use the IKEA app to take a wide-angle photo of your home and then add IKEA 3D furniture to your space. IKEA furniture is displayed in real, adjusted proportions, realistically matches the lighting in your room and interacts with other objects.
After taking a picture of your room, your images are analysed and processed into a single wide-angle 3D image that is saved in your IKEA profile. You can design your own space on our website IKEA Kreativ Design your own space. In the IKEA app, you can find IKEA Kreativ from the home screen/menu.
The program also allows you to digitally remove items from a room scan to create a better design experience (e.g. an old sofa or a cluttered room). The delete function works on the web and in the app and allows you to delete all or just some of the items in your room. Just like in 3D showrooms, you can decorate your room with a wide range of objects: you can design with furniture, decorative objects, wall decorations, carpets and wall-mounted furniture.
