Why are slatted bases sold separately for bed frames?

Slatted bed bases can be used to bring additional flexibility or adjustability to the bed according to your own needs.

Our selection of slatted bases allows you to better personalize the bed for everyone. The bed frame, slatted bases and the midbeam of the bed (in widths of 160 and 180 cm) are usually separate articles in the bed frames in our collection, which can also be purchased individually if necessary.
You can check the bed frame on the product page Product Details and Good to know It includes the parts, and if necessary, add the desired slatted base model separately to the shopping cart. Our slatted base models are LÖNSET and LURÖY.
The need for slatted bases according to size:
  • 160 cm wide bed: Needs two 80 cm wide slatted bases and a middle beam.
  • 180 cm wide bed: Needs two 90 cm wide slatted bases and a middle beam.
  • 90 cm wide bed: Needs one 90 cm wide slatted base.
