Untreated solid wood is a durable natural material which is even more hard-wearing and easy to look after if you oil or wax the surface.

sturdy once screwed to the wall

Easy to assemble and very sturdy once screwed to the wall. We are using it for pantry supplies and countertop appliances that we don't use frequently - standing mixer, canning jars, cans of food etc. Looks great also.
