What should I do if my device reports that there are not enough resources in IKEA Kreativ?
Our design experience requires your device's graphics processing unit (GPU) to create the scene. Since the GPU is shared with other sites, applications or software, its power may be used elsewhere and may not be sufficient to power the design experience.
How can you avoid this?
There are many reasons that can trigger this condition, and unfortunately it is difficult to avoid. However, there are a few measures you can take to prevent it:
-
Close other sites and programs that require a lot of GPU resources (e.g. Photoshop, Premiere, Netflix, YouTube, games).
-
Run your browser with fewer tabs - especially if your other tabs display pages that place high demands on the graphics system.
-
Leave your device plugged in. If you operate your device at full power, your graphics processor will work at maximum speed.
-
Stick to the same screen/screen configuration. If you change the number of devices (e.g. if you temporarily add a monitor), this can overload the graphics resources.
