Does the piece of furniture I want to return via Second Chance have to be dismantled?

You can have your old furniture picked up when our service partner delivers your new furniture. Note the conditions that apply.

It is possible to return an item that is open or assembled if the item is complete and clean. Remember to bring your receipt or proof of purchase to an IKEA store for your return.

With our “Second Chance” service, you can sell back a used piece of IKEA furniture that you no longer have any use for to us all year round, even outside the #BuyBackFriday period.

You can give your used IKEA furniture a second chance at any IKEA store in our Second Chance Market if it meets the buy-back conditions.
