Do I need proof of purchase if I want to sell my product back to IKEA?
You don't need a proof of purchase for our Second Chance buyback service. However, your item must be clearly recognizable as an IKEA product. Please also find out beforehand which products can be repurchased via the buyback service.
Products that are suitable for must:
- be recognizable as an IKEA product (by product sticker or stamp)
- be in good, resalable condition
- be listed as suitable below
- be complete and fully functional
- Be properly mounted upon return
- be clean and unchanged
Products that IKEA buys back:
- Chests of drawers
- Drawer elements for the office
- Small furniture with drawers
- Storage Combinations
- Sideboards
- Bookcases and shelves
- Small Tische
- Multimedia furniture
- Cabinets
- Dining tables and desks
- Chairs and stools (unupholstered or with leather)
- Furniture for children or babies (cots, changing tables)
- Garden furniture that shows no signs of weathering
