What do I have to do in the event of a product recall?
Customer safety is a top priority at IKEA.
All our products are tested. Despite these testing standards, there are cases where products must be recalled if there are concerns about customer safety. In the event of a recall, proof of purchase is not required.

The best thing to do is to go back and ask at the customer service desk whether any of your lost personal belongings or purchases have been handed in at the IKEA store.
