I accidentally damaged my product during transport/assembly. What should I do?
Sometimes things don't go according to plan. As an IKEA Family member or an IKEA Business Network member, you benefit from our transport and assembly guarantee when you use your IKEA member card when making a purchase. If something breaks during transport or assembly, we'll replace it.
Return the product you purchased to your local IKEA store within four weeks of the purchase date, along with the original proof of purchase (receipt or invoice), and we'll replace it. You can book an appointment here.
The transport and assembly guarantee does not apply to pre-cut items (e.g., fabrics and kitchen countertops), green plants, and bargain items. Your statutory right of withdrawal and your statutory warranty claims remain unaffected.
