What are the general terms and conditions of delivery and requirements at IKEA?
Most IKEA products can be delivered, but not to Postboxes, unsafe locations or addresses outside of Austria. Delivery availability depends on your location, order size, and product type, as certain delicate, oversized, or seasonal items may have restrictions. To ensure smooth delivery, please provide correct address details and any relevant access or delivery instructions when placing your order.
Delivery access
- For all delivery options, there must be a sufficient, clear and safe access route. Provide all delivery details when you place your order. Deliveries cannot be made to P.O. boxes or to addresses with unsafe access (for example, construction sites or incomplete residential or commercial buildings).
Deliverable items
- Most IKEA products can be delivered, but some items are only available for purchase in store.
- Items that are restricted or not deliverable may include fragile products such as glassware and mirrors, oversized items, seasonal products, live plants, or food items from the Swedish Shop.
- To check whether an item can be delivered, find the product on the IKEA website and check the “How you’ll get it” section on the product page.
Delivery areas
- IKEA delivers products purchased in Austria only within Austria. International delivery from IKEA Austria is not available at present.
- To see whether delivery is available to you, open the product page on IKEA.com and enter your postcode in the “How you’ll get it” section.
- If you order several items, you can also view the available delivery methods at checkout.
- Please note that IKEA products cannot be transferred from one store to another.
Order value
- A minimum order value of €25 applies to parcel and freight deliveries.
- Some products also require a minimum quantity per order.
- The delivery options available to you will be shown automatically at checkout — depending on order value, size and number of items.
Correct information
- You will be asked to provide the exact delivery location to enable a successful delivery.
