How do I choose between the different IKEA delivery options?
To choose the most suitable delivery option, consider the size and type of your order. Standard parcel delivery is suitable for smaller items, while standard truck delivery is intended for larger or bulky products. If you would prefer to collect your order yourself, Click & Collect offers flexible collection options.
The delivery option available for your order mainly depends on the size, weight and type of products. The system checks your order automatically and displays the suitable delivery and collection options during checkout.
1. Consider the size and type of your order
Standard parcel delivery
Suitable for smaller and lighter items
For smaller and lighter items, such as decorations, textiles or accessories, the system automatically selects standard parcel delivery after checking your order.
This is a cost-effective delivery option.
Please note: Not all products are suitable for standard parcel delivery. Restrictions may apply, for example because a product is fragile.
Standard truck delivery
Suitable for larger furniture and bulky orders
For larger furniture or bulky orders, standard truck delivery is selected automatically if the dimensions or weight exceed the limits for standard parcel delivery.
2. Would you prefer to collect your order yourself?
Click & Collect
If you have a flexible schedule and would like to collect your items yourself, Click & Collect allows you to collect your order:
- from a nearby IKEA store
- or from a collection point
3. Check the delivery time, time window and cost
For standard parcel delivery and standard truck delivery, the available time windows, estimated delivery time and cost depend on:
- your postcode
- the order value
- product availability
Always check the estimated delivery date shown during checkout or in your order confirmation.
