How is the buy-back price calculated for IKEA Second Life?

Learn how the price for your used furniture item is determined through the IKEA Second Life service.

The buy-back price is based on the condition and quality of your furniture item.
When you return your furniture, our co-workers review the information you provided and either confirm or adjust the non-binding offer.

WHAT IS CHECKED DURING THE ASSESSMENT?

During the quality inspection, we look at factors such as:
✓ condition of the furniture item
✓ completeness of all parts
✓ cleanliness
✓ function and stability
✓ general signs of wear

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE INSPECTION?

After the quality check, your furniture item receives the “IKEA Second Life” label and is then resold in the Second Life shop.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW

The initial offer is non-binding and may be adjusted after the in-store inspection.

GOOD TO KNOW
