Can products be transferred from one IKEA store to another?
To help reduce CO₂ emissions, IKEA does not transfer products from one store to another. Find out why and what alternatives are available.
At IKEA, we place great importance on sustainable and efficient logistics. To reduce CO₂ emissions and help protect the environment, products are not transported from store to store.
Instead, our products are:
- delivered directly from the manufacturer
- supplied via our central warehouses
- delivered directly to the relevant IKEA stores
This direct approach helps us to:
🌱 reduce CO₂ emissions
💰 keep prices fair for our customers
🚚 avoid unnecessary transport
For these reasons, we’re unfortunately unable to transfer products between IKEA stores.
Good to know
Even if a store-to-store transfer isn’t possible, there are practical alternatives:
🛒 Order online and have your items conveniently delivered to your home.
📦 Use Click & Collect if the item is available at your preferred IKEA store.
