How does the Click & Collect option work at IKEA?

Experience the convenient way to shop with IKEA Click & Collect: Order online, choose your desired date and pick up your products quickly and easily at the IKEA store or pick-up point!

Ordering process

a. Add the products you want to your online shopping cart.
b. At checkout, choose the option “at IKEA store or pick-up point” or “pick up at a nearby pick-up point”. If this option isn’t available, it may be due to market-specific restrictions (e.g. location or product availability).
c. Choose your preferred IKEA store or pick-up point and book an available collection time slot.
d. Complete your order. If you are an IKEA Family member or meet conditions for free pick-up, any price benefits will be applied automatically at checkout.
e. If your desired location is not shown, this may be due to high demand. Try again in 1–2 days, as more options may become available then.
f. If you change your mind, you can cancel your Click & Collect order using the “Track and manage order” tool. Note that cancellation policies vary by service and Click & Collect orders usually cannot be changed after confirmation. If you have questions, contact IKEA Customer Service.

Order processing and preparation

a. Your order will be processed and reserved at your chosen pick-up location.
b. You will receive an order confirmation by email or SMS with pick-up information telling you when and where to collect your items. You can only collect after you have received this notification.
c. Please pick up your Click & Collect order within your selected time slot.
d. Check the status of your order using the online “Track and manage order” tool.
e. Regularly check your email for possible changes or delays.

Collection (pick-up)

a. Once your order is ready for collection you will receive an SMS or email.
b. Check the opening hours and exact pick-up instructions for your chosen IKEA store or pick-up point — you can find these on the IKEA website under “IKEA stores & pick-up points”.
c. Arrange help to carry your items if your order includes heavy or bulky products.
d. Come to the designated pick-up area during your booked time slot (usually near the returns or goods collection area).
e. Show a photo ID and proof of purchase. If someone else collects the order for you, that person must also show proof of purchase, an authorization letter, and photo ID.
f. Our staff will prepare your items and place them on a trolley to make collection quick and easy.
g. Load the items into your vehicle — if assistance is available, you can ask staff for help (please note there is no automatic loading service for heavy items).

After collection

a. Check immediately after collection that you have received all items and that packaging is not damaged.
b. If items are missing or damaged, report this immediately to a staff member on site so the issue can be resolved, or contact IKEA Customer Service.
