How does IKEA Click & Collect work?

With IKEA Click & Collect, you can conveniently order online, select your preferred collection time and quickly and easily collect your products from an IKEA store or collection point.

With Click & Collect, you order the products you want online and collect them from your preferred collection location at the selected time. Here you can find out how to place your order, when it will be ready for collection and what to consider when collecting it.

1. Select Click & Collect

  1. Add the products you want to your shopping bag while shopping online.
  2. Select one of the following options during checkout:
    • “At an IKEA store or collection point”
    • “Collection from a collection point near you”
  3. Select your preferred IKEA store or collection point.
  4. Book one of the available collection time windows.
  5. Complete your order.
If you are an IKEA Family member or meet certain requirements for free collection, the relevant price benefits will be applied automatically during checkout.

Is your preferred collection option not displayed?

This may be due to market-specific restrictions, such as the location or product availability.
If your preferred location is not displayed, there may currently be high demand. Try again after one or two days, as more options may then become available.

2. Change or cancel your order

If you change your mind, you can cancel your Click & Collect order using the “Track and manage my order” tool.
Please note: Cancellation conditions may vary depending on the service. Click & Collect orders generally cannot be changed once they have been confirmed.
Contact IKEA Customer Service if you have any questions.

3. Check your order confirmation and collection status

Your order will be processed and reserved at your selected collection location.
As soon as it is ready for collection, you will receive an order confirmation by email or SMS. This will include information about when and where you can collect your items.
Important: Collection is only possible once you have received this notification.
Please:
  • collect your order within the selected collection time window
  • check the status using “Track and manage my order”
  • check your emails regularly so that you remain informed about possible changes or delays

4. Prepare for collection

Before travelling, check:
  • the opening hours
  • the detailed collection instructions
  • the designated collection area
You can find this information on the IKEA website under “IKEA stores and collection points”.
Arrange help with carrying the items if necessary, particularly if your order contains heavy or bulky products.

5. Collect your order

Arrive at the designated collection area during your booked collection time window. This is usually located near the returns or goods collection area.

Please bring the following

  • your photo ID
  • your proof of purchase

Is someone else collecting your order?

In this case, the person must provide:
  • proof of purchase
  • a letter of authorisation
  • a photo ID
Your products will be prepared by the co-workers and placed on a trolley for collection.
You can then load the items into your vehicle. If assistance is available, you can ask the co-workers for help.
Please note: Loading assistance is not automatically provided for heavy items.

6. Check your order immediately after collection

Immediately after collecting your order, check:
  • whether you have received all items in full
  • whether the packaging is undamaged
If any items are missing or damaged, contact a co-worker on site immediately so that the issue can be resolved directly.
Alternatively, you can contact IKEA Customer Service.
