What is being done in a case of a warranty claim to solve the problem?
IKEA examines the product and checks whether there is a warranty claim.
For some products (electrical appliances as well as televisions, sound systems), we take the liberty of commissioning a competent service partner to check the warranty claim and carry out the repair.
If there is a warranty claim, IKEA will have the defective product repaired or replaced with the same or comparable product. The costs for repairs, spare parts as well as the labor and travel costs of the fitter are covered by IKEA. Replaced parts become the property of IKEA. If the product is no longer on stock at IKEA, IKEA will offer an appropriate replacement product. In individual cases, appropriate monetary compensation may also be paid.
