When does the warranty apply at IKEA?

The warranty period begins on the date of purchase. Please keep the original receipt or invoice in a safe place - these documents are required as proof of purchase.

The warranty does not apply to defects caused by faulty assembly, improper use or violent impacts, nor does it apply to incidental or consequential damages.
