Does IKEA provide free transport to its stores?
The IKEA bus transportation to IKEA department stores has been discontinued since March 28, 2020.
Since 2020 IKEA no longer provides free bus transportation to the stores in Austria. This change is due to a shift in customer behaviour, and in response, we have introduced several new services to make our customers' lives easier such as more delivery and return options. Additionally, we now have IKEA Planning Studios in Vienna, Wiener Neustadt, Villach, St. Pölten, Linz and Dornbirn where we serve our customers with all their home furnishing needs and projects.
You are still able to visit the stores using local buses. Find your closest IKEA store and directions here.
