Are IKEA stores accessible, child-friendly and dog-friendly?

IKEA stores are designed to be accessible and child-friendly, and you’re also welcome to bring your dog with you while you shop.

Our IKEA stores are designed to be accessible and comfortable for all visitors – whether you’re visiting with a wheelchair, children or a dog.

Accessibility

  • Lifts and/or escalators are available in all stores
  • Wide and easily accessible walkways
  • Wheelchairs are available free of charge in many IKEA stores at the Information or Customer Service desk
  • Accessible toilets are available

Child-friendly facilities

  • Småland welcomes children within the applicable age range
  • Baby-changing facilities and child-friendly areas are available in all stores

Dogs are welcome

  • Dogs are welcome in all IKEA stores
  • Please keep your dog on a lead and, where legally required, use a muzzle
  • Assistance dogs are always welcome
