Such a Yessssss buy SophiaWas easy to put together by myself, sturdy & no wobbling (which can happen with diy assembled furniture). Aesthetically functional Fyi: pay attention to little differences on pictures between steps on instructions though! 5
Functional, sleek, size appropriateToddGood size for small space with limited counter space. Provides ample workspace yet requires minimal floor space. Sleek and clean looks. Very happy with this piece.5
Fits kitchen space perfectlyPauletteI am renting a small house and needed extra kitchen storage. This cart is the perfect fit for the space and holds a tremendous amount.5
Just what I neededBeckyMade very well and matches other pieces I already had.5
Another serious decline in qualityTrennaI had one years ago and finally splurged instead of getting a used one: huge disappointment! Refurnishing 4 rooms, this like almost all the other items had mis-drilled holes, was poorly sanded, and has so many flaws in the varnished parts. Drawers are undersized, fit poorly, don't glide. I wish the top were unfinished, so people could oil it if they want to use it that way or varnish it. Local used listings have tons for sale cheap because people stain the tops all the time, yet that "chemical smell" is actually because whatever IKEA oiled it with was rancid, so it stank for weeks and can't really take a different type of finish easily now. And "if you don't love it you can return it" is poor comfort after the hassle of getting it home and assembling it, especially something too big for a car. Maybe go back to making things properly the first time, IKEA?3
Sturdy, cute, great for small spacesSusyI used this in combination with the smaller birch butcher block unit to add more space and storage to my teeny tiny apartment kitchen. Was easy enough to assemble, I’m so happy with them both!5
not food safeKatherynMy family has been purchasing these carts since the beginning.. when they were around $100. At that time they didn’t finish them with a coat on top - that was left for the customer to decide. They are a great size and work well. That being said… they are now almost $200 and this most recent purchase was a severe disappointment. Terrible chemical smell upon opening the box. I did research and to my surprise… the clear counter protectant that they paint this will and also sell on the website for “kitchen use” is NOT FOOD SAFE!! It says this directly on the listing of the product of the varnish. Sooo crazy. This should NOT be advertised as a kitchen cart if it’s not food safe and furthermore… they shouldn’t be painting this beautiful natural wood with poison. They also shouldn’t be selling the clear coat that isn’t food safe. Ugh. So frustrating.2
Perfect NYC kitchen islandGarrettChic timeless functional. I love it5
Kitchen CartSuzanneThis cart is perfect next to my stove. It is very sturdy and works well as an extra counter.5
Serves its purpose!AlexandraWe have extra outlets in the kitchen that needed counter space we didn't have. This is a really sturdy kitchen island that allowed us store and use some of the kitchen electronics that take up a lot of space. We were concerned the wheels would cause it to wobble a bit but that wasnt the case at all. We’re happy with our purchase!5
PerfectKimberlyPerfect for a small kitchen. It added so much usefulness to a small space. 5
Love it!UGave me the extra storage space I needed for my small appliances.5
Great Kitchen CartCaroleWorks well in our small kitchen. Would be great if the drawers were on rollers but other than that no complaints.5
Great productMikaelBought this product to increase the amount of workspace in our small kitchen. This movable island was the perfect fit. The size is perfect, the height is perfect. A plus is that we can easily move it from the kitchen to the dining area if we want to use it to serve food.
The cart was easy to assemble. The only tedious part was fitting the ribs of the two shelves together.5
Sturdy and reasonably pricedManuelIt’s sturdy. Easy to assemble. The box fits well in a sedan. No need for a pickup truck. It is not too expensive as well. It’s a convenient way to add space in a kitchen and it glides easily too.4
Exactly what I was needingBonetaI bought this to provide an additional counter space for my stand mixer/blender area.5

A kitchen workhorseLindaThis cart is super sturdy and easy to assemble. There is enough room on the cart to display my stainless steel cookware. The lids slip nicely between the slats for vertical storage. My knives are in one drawer and cooking utensils are in the other. I use the top as extra counter space for meal prep.5
Kitchen cartDeborahWell worth the money. Solidly made. Took about an hour to assemble. Assembly level NOT for beginners.5
