Feels strong and compact enoughShriniwasThis umbrella does not feel flimsy, and though not foldable, still is compact enough to carry in person on in a vehicle. The problem with foldable ones is that they are not strong enough to handle even normal winds accompanying rain. If I were to be picky, I would like this umbrella with options other than plain black.
Affordable Full Size UmbrellaWaynethe Knalla is very well constructed and very reasonably priced. I am always either forgetting my umbrella or leaving it somewhere. Now, with Knalla, I can have several - one at home; one in the car; one at work - waiting for me.
Hopefully, it will be available in different colors and patterns soon :)
singing & dancing in the rain dryHelenson exhausted his umbrella supply & needed to restock. i get ikea emails. i thought i'd check ikea, and viola, they stock umbrellas. i ordered son's his new stock of non-foldables & foldables online. during order, ikea indicated both was stocked. i was texted 1st order of non-foldables were ready for pick up. pick up in a private garage location, and ikea validates. i checked if 2nd order was ready during a long wait. u'd think order ready & packed, but noooo. only in america. i requested a check on 2nd order of foldables while waiting. they texted that order too will be ready. when finally delivered, only non-foldables. staff expressed out of stock on foldables, and it's on rain check. ikea emailed later order of foldables was canceled, then upped their price. it's business. well, rain storms over in our city. enjoy your stock of foldables, ikea!!

Poor quality, broke after 3 usesQingyunI was hoping to buy a solid long stem umbrella for the wind and rain in winter and was happy that I found this at Ikea. But it didn't make through just three rainy days. A connection cracked and cannot be repaired. It is not as strong as it looks like.
