Don't waste your time or moneyLisaI spent hours trying to make this work. I believe it to be impossible. Brackets bend with any type of movement. I eventually had to throw them out and come up with a new plan.

awesomeSydnii love my book shelves so much! i have 4 so far and over 160 books and counting. they are easy to put together and the directions are simple. also not too heavy- the box itself is yes but i was able to move it from room to room once it was up without any issues. other than that, i'm in love with it. thanks ikea!
HelpsEricaThese help to get the correct angle for the corner bookshelf and connect the bookshelves together. I wish the hardware was a little more robust. I used this for mine and despite the sides being attached to walls, I still felt the corner needed reinforcing after using these pieces. It’s also important to line up the bracket with the bookshelves exactly so you don’t damage the bookshelves.

The corner hardware serves its function well to connect and secure three singletons together. Friends and guests complimented our two corner bookcases and planned to have their own, too! Those two corner bookcases transformed our sitting room to a nice game room. They house all our board games and war games. Gamers simply pick what they would like to test play.
Bending brackets AmyHard to adjust on carpet and the smaller brackets bent very easily. I had hoped for a seamless look but there is a gap now towards the top.

Can't Get it FlushCaitlinI love my Billy bookcases and was really hoping that this corner hardware would allow me to make the most out of a big blank wall that I have. However I cannot seem to get the three bookcases to line up so they are flush where they meet on the sides. I've checked that things are level and it doesn't seem to matter. They start out flush at the bottom, but the tops have gaps on both sides starting mid way up that prevent me from getting that built in clean look I was really hoping for.

I absolutely LOVE them!! They hold my yarns and a host of other craft components. My friend saw it and told me it looks like I have a store - she thought it was great! I can now see what I have and I don’t get caught double- and triple- buying anything.
Served it purposeKristanThese brackets have allowed the bookshelves to appear as one unit. It was a little difficult lining things up just right to get them in place, but it wasn't too bad.
