Not very stableBrittanyBeautiful shelf! I love the look of them. However, the mounting bracket is slightly smaller than the opening in the shelf and that causes the shelf to tip forward. It wobbles if you try to lift it up and down. Because of this, I would caution you to be careful what you want to use these for and maybe find a sturdier shelf. 3

Lovely but trickier than expected to installLisaThis shelf is classic for a reason. Simple, elegant, functional. Took off one star because I found it a bit tricky to line up the shelf holes with the bracket rods for mounting (and I normally like putting together IKEA stuff). I had to put a mirror against the wall so I could see behind the shelf to guide me (a second person would've been helpful, but wasn't an option). The holes and bracket needed to be aligned juuusst so.5

The other person that said it plants outward from the wall was correct. It looks like it's going to fall off, but more importantly it looks like the stuff on it will fall off.
I am a fairly handy guy so I thought surely I could make it work. But no, the quality is just too low. You will need to buy a more expensive shelf elsewhere.
I have less than 8kg of weight on it and that is way beyond it's capability. For a 4 foot shelf I would have expected it to hold more.1
